| Ruling Text: Samantha Dubois, as trainer of record for the horse “J-S PERFECT CACHE” on 03/19/2024 at Saratoga Harness, having appeared before a representative of the New York State Gaming Commission, and waiving the right to a formal hearing and the right to appeal, and waiving the right to a referee sample test, is issued a Twenty (20) day full suspension of their occupational license (reduced to Ten (10) days without appeal), beginning 04/10/2024, through and including 04/29/2024, and a One Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($1,500.00) fine (reduced to Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) without appeal. The post-race sample collected from #3 “J-S PERFECT CACHE” from the 5th race at Saratoga Harness on 03/19/2024 was found to contain “DEXAMETHAZONE”. “J-S PERFECT CACHE” finished 1st and is hereby disqualified and placed unplaced and the purse money won of Two Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($2625.00) is ordered returned and redistributed. “J-S PERFECT CACHE” shall submit a sample for testing and remain on the Judges List until a negative result is obtained and must re-qualify. During the term of the suspension, Samantha Dubois is deemed a disqualified person and denied access to all grounds under the jurisdiction of the New York State Gaming Commission. Any horses owned or trained by Samantha Dubois shall be denied the privilege of participating during the term of suspension.
