| Ruling Text: Christopher Dubois, as trainer of record for the horse MACZAFFAIR N in the 12th race on 03/12/2024 at Saratoga Harness is issued a Sixty (60) day full suspension of their occupational license, beginning 03/31/2024, through and including 05/29/2024, and a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) fine. The pre-race blood sample collected from MACZAFFAIR N on 03/12/2024 was found to have a TCO2 concentration 44.2 millimoles per liter +/- 0.2 millimoles per liter. This is in excess of the levels established by the New York State Gaming Commission. MACZAFFAIR N finished 7th and is hereby disqualified and placed unplaced. MACZAFFAIR N had no purse earnings in this race. MACZAFFAIR N shall submit to a 6-hour pre-race detention, for a period of 6 months,03/13/2024 through 09/13/2024, without regard to whether the horse is transferred to a new owner or trainer. The horse must also test in compliance with the above stated rules each time raced during the required pre-race detention period and shall be ineligible to race until the horse tests in compliance with this rule. During the term of the suspension, Christopher Dubois is deemed a disqualified person and denied access to all grounds under the jurisdiction of the New York State Gaming Commission. Any horses owned or trained by Christopher Dubois shall be denied the privilege of participating during the term of suspension, unless transferred to another licensee approved by the Presiding Judge at Saratoga Harness.
