| Ruling Text: On 03/17/2024 at Saratoga Harness during the second race while driving #1 MANNY L, Mitchell Cushing did fail to conduct himself in a forthright, gentlemanly manner. This action was detrimental to the best interests of racing. Having appeared before a representative of the New York State Gaming Commission and waiving his right to a formal hearing and right to appeal, Mitchell Cushing is issued a Twenty (20) day (reduced to Ten (10) days without appeal), full suspension of his occupational license 03/20/2024 through and including 04/08/2024. Furthermore, Mitchell Cushing is fined Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) (reduced to Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) without appeal.) Further violations of this nature may result in greater penalties. |
