| Ruling Text: In the 9th race on 02/04/2024 at Saratoga Raceway while driving #2 Northern Virgin, Mr. Long did cross over after the start where clearance did not exist and strike the front legs of #1 Barnard Hanover causing interference. #2 Northern Virgin finished 4th and was placed 6th. Having appeared before a representative of the NYSGC and waving his right to a formal hearing and right to appeal, Mr. Long’s 8 day driving suspension is reduced to a three (3) day driving suspension to be served 02/15/2024, 02/16/2024 and 02/17/2024. This is a driving only suspension. |
