Anthony Urbanowicz as trainer of record for the horse "Fomor" winner of the 4th race on 10/23/2023 is hereby fined the sum of $8,000.00 and suspended 240 days. Post-race analysis of the sample submitted resulted in a positive finding for COBALT at a level higher than the allowable threshold. "Fomor" is hereby disqualified and placed 8th. All purse monies paid must be returned and redistributed. Having appeared before  a representative of the NYSGC and waiving the right to a formal hearing and appeal, the suspension is hereby reduced to 120 days and the fine is reduced to $4,000.00. The horse "Fomor" will be required to submit a negative sample for the above-mentioned substance before being allowed to participate in further racing. During the term of suspension, Mr. Urbanowicz will be denied the privilege of and access to all grounds under the jurisdiction of the NYSGC. All horses owned or trained by Mr. Urbanowicz will be denied the privilege of participating in any racing in New York during the term of suspension without transfer to other licensee(s) approved by the Judges. (4th offense in this category in a 365-day period.)
