| Ruling Text: Mr.Niles was the trainer of record for ELECTRIC CHAPEL N in the 12th Race at Buffalo Raceway on June 17th, 2023. Post race analysis of sample CV2202520 contained Isoflupredone. Electric Chapel N Finished 1nd , is disqualified and placed 8th. Having appeared before a representative of the NYSGC and waiving his right to a split sample, formal hearing, and right to appeal, Mr.Niles $500 fine and 15 day suspension is hereby reduced to a $250 fine and a 7 day full suspension of his license to be served July 29 th, 2023 through and including August 4th, 2023. During the term of suspension, Mr. Niles is ruled off all grounds under the jurisdiction of the NYSGC, is deemed a disqualified person, and is not permitted to engage in any racing activities. Mr Niles is ordered to return all purse monies earned in the above mentioned race. Electric Chapel N shall be required to submit a negative sample prior to being permitted to enter to race or qualify ( samples have been provided). Any and all trainer transfers of horses under Mr Niles care must be approved by the Presiding Judge at Buffalo Raceway. |
