| Ruling Text: Amended Ruling :Mr. Hudson was the trainer of record for both My Ultimate star N and Stick With Me Kid in the 2nd and 4th races respectively at Yonkers Raceway on 3/14 and 3/15/23. Pre and Post race analysis on 3/14 and pre race analysis on 3/15 of sample showed the presence of COBALT above the level permitted by the Commission. Having appeared before a representative of the NYSGC and having waived his right to a split sample being tested, Mr. Hudson is issued a 60 day full suspension reduced to 30 days (7/2/23-7/31/23) and issued a $2,000 fine reduced to $1,000. During the term of suspension, Mr. Hudson is deemed a disqualified person and ruled off all grounds under the jurisdiction of the NYSGC, and barred from all racing activities. Both horses are hereby disqualified and placed last. All purse monies earned in the above mentioned races are ordered to be returned and redistributed (purse has been returned). The horses have subsequently both submitted clean samples since this positive result. The appeal for this ruling has been withdrawn and the penalty issued |
