| Ruling Text: The horse (JS Trotting Bob), that you were the trainer of record for and that was entered by you, raced on 11/11/18. Your employer Richard Silverman, entered and raced the horse (Prince Of Minto) that he was the trainer of record for, in the same race. There was no indication on either declaration indicating the employer/employee relationship. Having those horses race in the same race, under the circumstances, constitutes conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing. Having appeared telephonically before a representative of the NYS Gaming Commission, and waived your right to a hearing, and the Commission considering the circumstances, your fine of $500.00 is reduced to $250.00. Future violations of this nature can result in additional and/or increased penalty(s). |
