| Ruling Text: Having received a hearing before the NYS Gaming Commission and the Commission having upheld the Stewards decision, concerning the ruling on the running of the 4th race on October 25, 2017, Jockey Andy Hernandez Sanchez is suspended for 7 calendar days effective Monday, May 21, 2018 through Sunday, May 27, 2018, inclusive.
PREVIOUS RULING:Jockey Andy Hernandez Sanchez, rider of "Dosage and Mimosas" (#7), is suspended for 7 calendar days effective Wednesday, November 1, 2017 through Tuesday, November 7, 2017, inclusive; for interfering with "Stormin Margaret" (#2) in the stretch, during the running of the 4th race on October 25, 2017.
Having appealed, a stay of your license suspension or revocation is hereby granted; however, Commission counsel may make a motion for your stay to be terminated in the event that your appeal hearing is not completed within 90 days of this ruling. If your stay is terminated because of your unreasonable delay in the completion of your hearing, then your license suspension or revocation would begin and run until your appeal hearing is completed. You are also hereby granted a stay for all time after your appeal hearing is completed and until the Commission issues its final decision on your appeal. |
