| Ruling Text: As trainer of record for the horse named Rosie Rozzo, whoe raced in the 7th race at Monticello Raceway on June 14, 2017, you are fined the sum of $1,000 because the post race urine and blood samples indicated the presence of illegal amounts of the drug dexamethasone.. Having reviewed your prior penalties and having waived your right to appeal, your fine has been reduced to $500. In addition the horse was disqualified from its first place finish and placed 8th. All purse money earned in that race by your horse must be returned for redistribution. The horse, having produced a clear blood and urine sample since the race date of June 14 is allowed to race. |
