| Ruling Text: Mr. Raj Jagnanan committed an improper, corrupt and fraudulent act and practice in relation to racing, and committed and attempted to commit a fraud and misrepresentation in connection with racing, in that:
Mr. Raj Jagnanan did have and posses, on the premise of Aqueduct racetrack, a bottle with an prescription label that he knew falsely and inaccurately stated the drug was to treat a horse that had not been examined by the veterinarian who prescribed the drug and that was a fictitious horse name, and
Mr. Raj Jagnanan did have and possess, on the premise of a racing association, a 500 mi bottle of the drug "Albuterol" without a prescription to use the drug for a valid purpose and that had been prescribed for a fictitious horse by the veterinarian, in violation 9 NYCRR 4042.1(f) and 4002.9(a)
Ordered during your period of suspension, you shall not directly or indirectly participate in New York State pari-mutuel horse racing, you are denied the privileges and use of the grounds of all racetracks, including any arrangements to manage funds, provide advise or otherwise assist with aspect of ownership. |
