Gaming Commission

Trainer Darren Taneyhill on 5/28/2015 refused to allow search of vehicle after being given notice by the gaming commission and Yonkers raceway officials. This conduct implicates Rules 4120.6(d) (failure to consent to search); 4119.7(a)(5) ; 4119.7(b) (C&F); 4119.7(d) (duty to cooperate); 4119.8 (undesirable acts); and 4119.9(a) (prohibited acts-unspecified).Penalty to be issued for these violations shall be a $5000.00 fine and a Sixty (60) day suspension. Suspension to begin 6/19/15 through and including 8/17/15, and a five thousand dollar fine ($5000.00). During the time of your suspension, you shall not directly or indirectly participate in New York State Pari-mutuel racing, you are denied privlidges and use of the grounds at all New York State racetracks, and you are forbidden to participate in any share of purses. In addition, every horse shall be denied the privledges of the grounds, and shall not participate in pari-mutuel racing (1) that is owned or traied by you during your period of suspension, (2) that is owned or trained by any individual who continues to serve as your agentor employee during the period of your suspension, or (3) for which you directyly or indirectly make or execute during the period of your suspension, any arrangement with an owner or other persons to care for, train, enter to race, invoice, collect fees, or other payments related to the employ of workers, or otherwise handle; this shall not preclude your pre-suspension agents or employees who are not serving as such during your suspension period, from participating in pari-mutuel racing as owners or trainers- provided that they are duly licensed and perform their duties in compliance with the rules and regulations of the State of New York.
