| Ruling Text: Having received a hearing before the NYS Gaming Commission concerning the Stewards decision on the 4th race on October 24, 2014, and the Commission having upheld the Stewards ruling, Jockey Charlie Amaro is suspended for 10 calendar days effective Thursday, May 28, 2015 through Saturday, June 6, 2015, inclusive.
PREVIOUS RULING
Jockey Charlie Amaro, rider of "Polan" (#1A), is suspended for 10 calendar days effective Friday, October 31, 2014 through Sunday, November 9, 2014, inclusive, for interfering with "Pitching Pennies" (#5) in the stretch, during the running of the 4th race on Friday, October 24, 2014.
Having appealed, a stay of your license suspension or revocation is hereby granted; however, Commission counsel may make a motion for your stay to be terminated in the event that your appeal hearing is not completed within 90 days of this ruling. If your stay is terminated because of your unreasonable delay in the completion of your hearing, then your license suspension or revocation would begin and run until your appeal hearing is completed. You are also hereby granted a separate stay that will begin only after your appeal hearing is completed. This second stay will terminate when the Commission issues its final agency action (e.g., finding and order).
