| Ruling Text: Having received a hearing before the NYS Gaming Commission of the Stewards decision concerning the running of the 2nd race on July 21, 2014, and the Commission having upheld the Stewards, Jockey Jose Baez is suspended for 10 calendar days effective Monday, May 18, 2015 through Wednesday, May 27, 2015, inclusive.

Jockey Jose Baez, rider of “Bullnose Brick” (#2b), is suspended for 10 calendar days effective Wednesday, July30, 2014 through Friday, August 8, 2014, inclusive, for interfering with “Pura P T” (#3) in the stretch during the running of the 2nd race on Monday, July 21, 2014.
Having appealed, a stay is granted for 90 days for you to complete your appeal hearing and, should you do so within 90 days of this ruling, for such time as the Board decides your appeal. If you fail to complete your evidentiary hearing within 90 days of this ruling, however, then this stay will expire and your penalty will begin.
