| Ruling Text: Having waived your right to appeal, you are fined $250.00 (reduced from $500.00) because the horse "Special Strides", trained by you, competed in the 7th race at Vernon Downs on May 5, 2012 while the drug "flunixin" was present in its system. Your horse finished 1st and was disqualified and placed last. You are required to return the purse money earned by the horse for redistribution. Your horse must also present blood and urine samples, according with Board procedures, which are clear of any illegal substances before it is allowed to race again. |
