Ruling Text: Having received a report from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board’ s Equine Drug Testing Laboratory of the finding of Flunixin in the body fluid samples taken from the #1 horse “Gargantua” which finished first in the ninth race on August 18, 2011, and having waived his right to appeal, Trainer Bryan R. Armstrong is hereby suspended for 7 calendar days effective Friday September 23, 2011 through Thursday September 29, 2011 inclusive and fined the sum of $250.00. During the period of his suspension Trainer Bryan R. Armstrong is denied the privileges and use of the grounds of all race tracks and forbidden to participate in pari-mutuel racing in New York and you are forbidden to share in any part of purses or other payments. Every horse is denied the privileges of the grounds and shall not participate in pari-mutuel racing in New York, further, that is (a) owned or trained by you, or any individual who serves as your agent or employee during your suspension; or (b) for which you during your suspension are involved directly or indirectly with training including any arrangements made to care for, train, enter, race, invoice, collect fees or payments, manage funds, employ or insure workers, provide advice or information or otherwise assist with any aspect of the training of the horse.
