| Ruling Text: YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE, before the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, at its office located at One Broadway Center, Sixth Floor, Schenectady, New York, on November 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., why, pursuant to Section 220, subdivision 2 of the Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law (RPWBL), your license to participate in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing as a Stable Employee should not be revoked, and any license application currently before the Board be should not denied, because on or about September 30, 2010, you were arrested by the Saratoga Springs City Police Department and charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, a Class D felony; And that you lack the financial responsibility, experience, character and general fitness such that your participation in horse racing will be inconsistent with the public interest, convenience or necessity and with the best interests of racing generally as prescribed by RPWBL Section 220(2) and 9 New York Codes Rules and Regulation Section 4002.9, subdivision (a). FINDINGS AND ORDER, August 2, 2011, Kristen M. Buckley, ORDERED, that Mr. Sanchez’ licenses to participate in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing as Stable Employee and/or groom be, and hereby is, revoked; and it is further ORDERED, that any pending application for a license for an occupation license in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing is denied; and it is further ORDERED, that during such time that he is unlicensed, Mr. Sanchez is denied the privileges of the grounds, whether as a patron or otherwise, of all racetracks under jurisdiction of the Board. |
