Ruling Text: YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED to SHOW CAUSE, before the New York State Racing and Wagering Board at its main office located at One Broadway Center, Schenectady, New York on May 15, 2009 at 9:30 A.M., pursuant to Section 220, subdivision 2 of the Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law why your license to participate as a groom in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing should not be suspended or revoked pursuant to 9 NYCRR § 4002.9(a) because you were on the grounds of the Aqueduct race track on August 28, 2008 while the drug cannabinoid (marijuana) was present in your system in violation of 9 NYCRR 4042.5(a), based upon a your admission and failure to comply with the voluntary agreement which you signed on March 15, 2009. FINDINGS AND ORDER, 7/23/2009, Gail Pronti: ORDERED, that the license of Respondent, OMAR GONZALEZ, is revoked for violation of the conditions of his license, and violation of Rules §§ 4002.9(a) and 4042.5.
