| Ruling Text: Having received a report from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board' s Equine Drug Testing Laboratory at Cornell University of the finding of Lidocaine and it's metabolites in the body fluid samples of the horse " We Love Our Kids" which finished 2nd in the 6th race on Saturday July 5, 2008 at Finger Lakes Race Track; and having waived her right to appeal, Owner/Trainer Linda K. Dixon is suspended for 15 calendar days effective Sunday October 26, 2008 through Sunday November 9, 2008 inclusive and fined the sum of $250.00. During the period of her suspension, Owner/Trainer Linda K. Dixon is denied the privileges of the grounds of Race Tracks in New York State. In a previous ruling dated August 7, 2008 the Stewards ordered "We Love Our Kids" disqualified from any part of the purse from the 6th race on July 5, 2008. |
