Ruling Text: Having received a report from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board' s Equine Drug Testing Laboratory at Cornell University of the finding of Lidocaine and it's metabolites in the body fluid samples of the horse "Blue Ridge Guy" which finished 2nd in the 2nd race on May 9, 2008 at Finger Lakes Race Track, and having waived his right to appeal, Trainer Manuel A. Gomez-Sierra is suspended for 15 calendar days effective Tuesday September 30, 2008 through Tuesday October 14, 2008 inclusive and is fined the sum of $250.00. During the period of his suspension, Trainer Manuel A. Gomez-Sierra is denied the privileges of the grounds of Race Tracks in New York State. In a previous ruling dated July 3, 2008 the Stewards ordered "Blue Ridge Guy" disqualified from any part of the purse from the 2nd race on May 9, 2008.
