| Ruling Text: You are ordered to show cause why your license to participate in par-mutuel thoroughbred racing as an Exercise Rider should not be suspended or revoked. FINDINGS AND ORDER, MAY 29, 2008, Gail Ponti: The Respondent, ORLANDO ABURTO, having received proper notice and having failed to appear at a hearing conducted on October 24, 2007; and the Hearing Officer having rendered his report on April 9, 2008, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and THE BOARD, after due deliberation, hereby adopts the Hearing Officer’s findings of fact and conclusions of law. THEREFORE, upon the record, the Report of the Hearing Officer, and the findings and conclusions adopted herein, it is hereby ORDERED, that the license of Respondent is revoked. |
