| Ruling Text: Having received a report from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board Equine Drug Testing Laboratory of the finding of an excessive amount of Phenylbutazone in the body fluid samples taken from the #1 horse "Marlene's Pearl" which finished 1st in the 6th race on August 12, 2011 and having waived his right to appeal, Trainer Mark L. Tasso is suspended for 7 calendar days effective Wednesday September 7, 2011 through Tuesday September 13, 2011 inclusive and fined the sum of $250.00. During the period of your suspension, Trainer Mark L. Tasso shall not directly or indirectly participate in New York State Pari-mutuel racing, you are denied the privileges and use of the grounds of all race tracks, and forbidden to participate in any share of purses or other payments. Every horse is denied the privileges of the grounds and shall not participate in Pari-mutuel racing in New York, further, that is (a) owned or trained by you, or any individual who serves as your agent or employee during your suspension; or (b) for which you, during your suspension is involved directly or indirectly with training including any arrangements made to care for, train, enter, race, invoice, collect fees or payments, manage funds, employ or insure workers, provide advice or information, or otherwise assist with any aspect of the training of horses, Furthermore; "Marlene's Pearl" is disqualified from any part of the purse and the Horseman' s Bookkeeper is ordered to redistribute the purse as follows: 1st #3 Licentious Eyes 2nd #4 Celtic Chant 3rd #6 Illegal Search 4th #5 Dainty Daisy 5th #2 Good Night Lucy |
