Ruling Text: YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE, before the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, at its office located at One Broadway Center, Sixth Floor, Schenectady, New York, on July 8, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., why, pursuant to Section 220, subdivision 2 and Section 309, subdivision 2 of the Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law (RPWBL), your licenses to participate in both pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing as an Owner and pari-mutuel harness racing as General Service employee should not be revoked, and any license application currently before the Board be should not denied. FINDINGS AND ORDER, January 27, 2011, Gail Pronti: ORDERED, that Mr. Gleason’s license to participate in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing as an Owner be, and is hereby suspended, for a period of 15 days, such penalty to be assessed at such time as Mr. Gleason’s thoroughbred license is renewed; and it is further ORDERED, that Mr. Gleason’s license to participate in pari-mutuel harness racing be, and is hereby revoked upon the finding that he demonstrated financial irresponsibility, provided, however, that the revocation is stayed conditioned upon Mr. Gleason fulfilling the specific payment obligations that were the subject of this proceeding in a timely manner, and it is further ORDERED the revocation will become effective without further adjudicatory proceedings in the event that Mr. Gleason fails to make such payments in a timely manner, and it is further ORDERED, that during the aforementioned 15-day suspension and/or in the event that the stay of revocation is lifted, Mr. Gleason shall be denied the privileges of the grounds, whether as a patron or otherwise, of all racetracks under jurisdiction of the Board.
