| Ruling Text: YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE, before the New York State Racing and Wagering Board at its main office located at One Broadway Center, Schenectady, New York on July 1, 2008, at 10:00A.M., why, pursuant to Section 213, subdivision 2 of the Racing, Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law ("Racing Law") why your license to participate as a Peace Officer in pari-mutuel thoroughbred racing should not be suspended or revoked pursuant to 9 NYCRR § 4002.9(a) and New York Racing, Pari-Mutual Wagering and Breeding Law, §409-2e(i). FINDINGS AND ORDER, 10/3/2008, Gail Pronti: ORDERED, that the license of Respondent is revoked for violation of the conditions of his license, violation of Rules §§ 4002.9(a) and 4042.5, and his experience, character and general fitness are such that participation in racing by him would be inconsistent with the public interest convenience or necessity, or in the best interest of racing generally. |
