| Ruling Text: The #3 horse "Berry Bound" ridden by Jockey Joseph Rocco was disqualified from 1st position and placed 2nd for interfering with the #5 horse "Chief's Lake" in the stretch during the running of the eighth race on Saturday July 14, 2007. Jockey Joseph Rocco is suspended for 7 days effective July 20, 2007 through July 26, 2007. This suspension is stayed pending the outcome of Jockey Rocco's appeal filed Tuesday July 17, 2007. Appeal was dropped 10/29/2007. New days to be assigned by the Presiding Judge. Having withdrawn his appeal of the Stewards decision concerning the running of the 8th race on Saturday July 14, 2007, Jockey Joseph S. Rocco is suspended for 7 calendar days effective Friday May 9, 2008 through Thursday may 15, 2008 inclusive. |
